In this episode Cian tells us about Guy Fawkes and The Gunpowder Plot. We go back to a time in England where religious tensions were reaching an all time high and many catholics, but none more so than this group that we will speak about today, were against the reigning king.
 
Dive in with Cian and Em as they talk about details of how the plot formed, how it was foiled, what happened to those involved and the legacy of those events that lives on to this very day.

In this episode Em will be looking at the truths behind the legends made popular in the book and film, The Amityville Horror. This week we travel to the house that had the iconic eye like windows to talk about the murders that started this property's grisly reputation to the family that moved in following and their famous claims of a paranormal experience so strong that it drove them from the home, never to return again. We even get a special cameo from the Warren's, a pop culture phenomenon and a killer that continuously changed his story. 
Today is a bit of everything. True crime, Spooky happenings and the start of a legend.

By the time his day was done six people would be dead, two would be seriously injured and almost bizarrely, some of the people that got into his car in-between would never realise a thing. 
 
Many are left wondering why this happened? 
Did Jason just snap one day?
Was there something else to blame for his actions?

Welcome to Episode Twenty-One of Do You Dare?
 
Join us this week as Em takes us to Springfield (and not the one from The Simpsons) but the one where over 30 years old ended up being the scene of possibly one of the most famous unsolved triple disappearances ever to take place. 
In this episode we will be talking about the mysterious disappearances of Suzanne "Suzie" Streeter, Stacy McCall, and Suzie  mother, Sherrill Levitt, better known as The Springfield Three.
 
This case will leave Em and Cian with more questions than answers but join them as they take you through the timeline, discuss suspects and theories and try to keep their cool as it comes to light just how much evidence that could have helped solve this was either accidental destroyed or missed thanks to police inaction. 
This is one of those cases that is frustrating from beginning to end, where everyone has their own opinion on what the hell could have happened that fateful night and we want to hear what you think over on our socials!

In this episode Cian takes a look at the case of Ruth Marie Terry, who spent many years better known to the public as ‘The Lady of the Dunes.’ This week we travel to Massachusetts for what was one of the most well known Jane Doe cases around and we look at how, thanks to advances in technology and the use of genetic genealogy, they were finally able to give Ruth back her name. 
We then explore how finding her identity may have led investigators straight to her killer and the possible person behind that has a wild background all of his own.
