Welcome to Episode Fifty-Four of Do You Dare?
This week we kick off our ‘May is for the Missing’ theme by telling you a historic case that is possibly one of the most well known disappearances in Australia due to the fact the man who disappeared was their prime minister.
(Trigger warnings: brief mentions of suicide)
In this episode Cian covers the case of Harold E Holt and we dive into Harold’s life, from his start in law to his military service to his transition into politics which eventually led him to become Australia’s president all before he went missing at sea after going swimming one December day in 1967.
Follow along as we look at some bizarre theories, some controversial comments and a few memorials that feel a little too on the nose…
Thanks to everyone who has joined us for this week's case and we hope to see you back next episode when Em takes us back to 2008 for the extremely strange disappearance of a college student in a case that has more theories as to what might have happened than answers.
