This week we’re visiting one of the most bizarre houses possibly ever built that’s lore is maybe even stranger than the property itself.

In this episode Em is sharing the story of the Winchester Mystery House, a sprawling 24,000 square foot Victorian mansion that’s construction first began in 1884 and continued for almost 40 years.

 

From secret passages and hidden rooms to disorienting staircases and a doorway to nowhere this is definitely a property designed to resemble something more akin to a funhouse than a luxurious mansion but the reason that it was created?
