Case #032 - Krampus
Welcome to Episode Thirty-Two of Do You Dare?
IT’S HOLIDAY SEASON WITH THE DO YOU DARE? DUO!
Join us this week as Cian dips into eastern European folklore and kicks off the holiday season with St Nick’s more sinister counterpart.
(Trigger warnings for mentions of child abuse.)
In this episode Cian tells us about the history of Krampus and what happens to naughty children during Krampusnacht when they don’t follow the rules. This part human part goat like figure who originated in the Germanic alpine regions may have started around the 17th century but he only grows more and more popular as the years go on.
Thanks to everyone who has joined us for this week's interesting case and we hope to see you back next Tuesday as Em takes a darker turn into some Christmas crime that was committed by some very naughty young people.
